Well you have to keep in mind it was Melina's return. It wouldn't be right to let her loss her in-ring return to Beth simply because it was Beth's birthday. It might also be possible that Beth didn't want WWE to do anything for it or maybe we'll going see the return of the Beth/Melina feud and have her birthday loss come up somewhere in it.
